Obituary of Joseph Bemben

Bemben, Joseph Peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, February 24, 2001 at Versa Care Center, in his 75th year. Loving husband of Mary for over 54 years. Beloved father of the late Kazmir, John & his wife Linda, Josephine & her husband Marc Bougie, Casper, and Edward. Proud Dziadziu Michelle, Kevin, Christine, Brian, Carlee, Michael, and Alexandra. Dear Uncle of Michael, Elsa, and Stan Holomego. Mr. Bemben was a veteran of WW II and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Polish Branch #418. He retired from General Motors having worked there for over 26 years. Mr. Bemben is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St., until Tuesday at 9:30am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church at 10am. Rite of Committal will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours Sunday 7-9pm and Monday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Vigil prayers for the deceased will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 7:15pm.
