Obituary of Lorne Roach

Roach, Lorne Peacefully, at home, on Friday, February 23, 2001, 68 years of age. Loving husband of Olga for over 48 years. Much loved father of Jim, Debbie, Cindy, Bob, Dan, Rich, and Dave. Proud grandpa of Lindsay, Donna, Susie, Candice, Cheryl, Ellen, Cameron, Arden, Avril, and Ariana. Lorne served with the Canadian Armed Forces. He was owner/operator of Lorne's Moving & Delivery for many years. He was active in Scouting, a CB enthusiast, and he enjoyed Sailing, and Writing. Mr. Roach is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St., until Monday where a funeral service to celebrate his life will be held in the chapel at 1:00pm. Interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours Saturday and Sunday 7-9pm. Memorial remembrances to Help a Child Smile would be appreciated by the family.
