Obituary of Mariette Simon

SIMON, Mariette Suddenly, on Friday, February 16th, 2001 at the age of 56. Beloved wife of the late Gus (2000). Loving mother of Lynn Simon & Paul Duranyik, and Nancy & Greg Mayhew. Dear Grandmother of Karl, Connrad, Erik and Rosalind. Survived by her sisters Pauline Bertrand, Carmen Faucher and brothers Denis Coutu, Roger Coutu. Predeceased by her parents Maria & Maurice Coutu, brother Fernand Coutu and brother-in-law Roger Bertrand. Mrs. Simon will be sadly missed by many cousins, nieces & nephews, family and friends. Mariette worked at Niagara Machine Products for a few years. Mariette is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. where a funeral liturgy without mass will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 11:00 am. Cremation to follow. Visitation Monday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Vigil Prayers will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 7:00 pm. If so desired, donations to the charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
