Obituary of Carmela La Valle

LA VALLE CARMELA Peacefully and gracefully on Saturday January 27, 2001 at her residence, at 74 years of age. Beloved wife of Gabriele. Loving mother of Durante (Mary), Nevilia (Guido) Delli Castelli, Milva (Paul) Sztanko, cherished Nonna of Antonello (Nada), Gabriele (Daniela), Dan (Tara), Dino, Kristina and Matthew. GreatNonna of David. Dear sister of Rosa Bascilavecchia of Italy and Querino Bascilavecchia of Belgium. Carmela will be lovingly remebered by nieces, nephews, family and friends. Carmela was predeceased by her brother Nicola Bascilavecchia. Carmela is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Tuesday at 9:00am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Alfred's Church at 9:30am. Rite of committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil prayes for the deceased will be held in the funeral home on Monday evening. Visiting hours are Monday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Memorial remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
