Obituary of Mykola (Nick) Stasula

STASULA, Mykola (Nick) Peacefully, on Saturday, January 20, 2001 at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Sophie. Survived by one sister in Baltimore and extended family in Ukraine. A special Godfather to Zenon Chytra. Nick was a faithful parishioner of Sts. Cyril & Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church in St. Catharines and also a longtime member of the League of Ukrainian Canadians and the senior citizens group "Yednist". Mr. Stasula is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Tuesday at 9:30am. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church at 10:00am. Rite of Committal at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visitation Monday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Panachyda will be celebrated in the funeral home on Monday at 7:00pm. If so desired, donations to the Sts. Cyril & Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
