Obituary of Douglas John Giblin

GIBLIN, Douglas On Thursday, November 8th, 2001 at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Estelle (nee Matte) for 54 years. Loving father of John (Jane), Mike (Cindy), Roxanne (Gord) Kies. Dear grandfather of Lindsay, Susie, Greg, Rachelle, and Nicole. Survived by his sister Catharine Cunningham. Mr. Giblin was a past President of the Merritton Lions Club, coached minor sports in the Merritton Athletic Association, a retiree of Domtar and resided in Boca Raton, Florida & Sturgeon Lake, Kawartha's. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. on Tuesday from 2-4pm.
