WADSWORTH, Barbara Joy (nee Heenan)
Suddenly, on Wednesday, October 24th, 2001 at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 65. Beloved wife of the late Garth S. Wadsworth. Loving mother of Catherine (Chris) Hristow, Peter (Cheryl), Thomas (Susan), Robert (Kathleen), Barbara (predeceased) Wadsworth, and Patricia (Patrice) Dubé. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren; Neil, Colin and Laura Hristow; Grayson Wadsworth; William and James Wadsworth; Christine, Andrea and Erin Wadsworth; André and Élise Dubé. Predeceased by her parents Peter and Edith Heenan, sister Patricia Galloway, and mother-in-law Pauline Wadsworth. Beloved sister-in-law of Michael Wadsworth, and Maureen Wadsworth. Also predeceased by Joanne Wadsworth, and Paul Wadsworth. Beloved aunt of Marcus (Patrina), Michael, Susan (Les), Martha (predeceased), and James (Karen) Wadsworth and families. Barbara was a member of St. Julia's Church.
Mrs. Wadsworth is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Saturday at 12 noon. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Julia's Church Saturday at 1:00pm. Rite of Committal at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visitation Friday 2-4 & 7-9pm and Saturday 11-12noon. Vigil Prayers will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 7pm. If so desired, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
