Obituary of Debra Lynn Burns
Burns, Debra Lynn (Rogers)
After a courageous battle Debra has gone to be with her Lord and Saviour at the age of 39. She will be missed by her loving husband, Mark, and three adorable daughters, Megan, Devan and Emma of St. Catharines. Debbie also leaves her parents, John and Greta Rogers of Vineland; her sister Carole Rogers and her sons Jonathan and Aaron Cutler of Welland; her sister Lesley and husband Randy Upper and their daughter, Mackenzie of Vineland; as well as her Forever Friends, Carolyn and Paul Bielby of Dryden. Debbie found tremendous joy when she became a mother to Megan and more joy followed by Devan and finally, Emma were born. She felt very blessed to be part of the Harbour Fellowship Praise and Worship Teams and Small Group Ministries. Debbie felt the love and passion of starting Decorative Living with her parents in Vineland. The business was the source of many friendships. Family and friends have provided incredible support and comfort during Debbie's illness and she thanks God for her many blessings.
Debbie is resting at the George Darte North Chapel, 585 Carlton St. where family will receive friends on Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 p.m. Celebration of Life Service will be held at Harbour Fellowship Church, 51 South Service Rd., St. Catharines on Tuesday at 7 p.m. Private Interment will be held in St. John's Cemetery, Jordan. Donations to the Dreams to Memories Foundation, which sent the Burns family to Disney World in August, or the Debra Burns Trust established for Emma, Devan and Megan
