Obituary of Martha Mary Delvina Swaine

SWAINE, Martha (nee Fortier) Peacefully, on Saturday, August 18th, 2001 at the Hotel Dieu Hospital in her 67th year after a long and courageous fight with her illness. Loving wife of Bill. Dear mother of Angel and her husband Val Boccia, and Renee and her husband Jeff Eaton. Beloved grandmother of Nicole, Kristen, and Tyler. Dear sister of Rolanda Chapman of California, and Delvina Fiolich of Hamilton. Martha was a former Miss Timmins in 1955. Mrs. Swaine is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Tuesday at 9:00am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church at 9:30am. Rite of Committal at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visitation Monday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Vigil Prayers will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 8pm. If so desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
