Newman, Thomas A. On Friday, July 13, 2001 at the Hotel Dieu Hospital. 76 years of age. Beloved husband of the late Margaret Theresa nee McKinley (1972). Tim, Nancy of Toronto, Peter & his wife Diane, Tommy & his wife Kathleen of Leduc, AB., Marcy of Vancouver, B.C., Matt, Paul (P.J.), Andy, Patrick & his wife Stephanie of Victoria, B.C. Proud grandpa of 11 grandchildren. Mr. Newman was the last surviving grandchild of the Donnelly clan of Lucan, Ontario. Mr. Newman is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St., until Wednesday at 9:30am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria at 10am. Rite of Committal will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours Monday 7-9 and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Vigil prayers will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 7:30pm.
