Obituary of Leonilda Perlingiere

PERLINGIERI LEONILDA On Thursday July 12, 2001 at the St. Catharines General Hospital at 78 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Vito (1999) for almost 60 years. Beloved mother of Antonietta, the late Carmelina, Rocco and his wife Liz, Joe and his wife Mary, Gerry and his late wife Antoinette, and Angela. Dear Nonna of Angelo, the late Gaetano, Giuseppe, Gerardo, Bruno, Carmelina, Silvana, Angela, Lisa, Paula, Anthony, Dan, J,J,, Julia and Melissa. Great grandmother of 17 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Paola, Mariantonia, Lucia and Michele. Sister in law of Felicia and her husband Francesco Strazzella of St. Catharines, Madalena and her husband Giovanni and Generoso and his wife Giovanna of Italy. Predeceased by her sisters and brothers Filomena, Angela, Ciraco and Peppino, sisters and brothers in law Francesco, Angelo, and Carmella. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in both St. Catharines and Italy Mrs. Perlingieri was a member of St. Alfred's Church. Mrs. Perlingieri is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton until Monday at 9am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Alfred's Church at 9:30 am. Entombment in Plesantview Memorial Gardens Fonthill. Vigil prayers for the deceased will be held in the funeral home on Sunday at 3:00pm. Visiting hours are Saturday 7-9 pm and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Memorial remembrances to the Diabetes Assoc. would be appreciated by the family.
