Obituary of Cynthia (Claire) Spencer
SPENCER CYNTHIA LOUISE (CLAIRE) On Sunday July 1, 2001, at the Hotel Dieu Hospital, at 52 years of age. Beloved mother of Josh (Kim) Michener. Loving grandmother of Ciara and Clay. Cherished daughter of Louise and the late Walter Spencer. Dear sister of Lynn (John) Lott, Cheryl (John) Laughlin-DeSantis and Dr. Paul (Cristy) Spenser. Cynthia Claire will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was a former Girl Guide leader and a member of the Catholic Women's League of both St. Patrick's and St. Mary's Church in Toronto.
A memorial service to celebrate Cynthia's life will be held in the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. on Saturday July 7th at 11:00am. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date. Memorial remembrances to the Palliative Care Unit of the Hotel Dieu Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
The family wish to extend a special thanks to the staff of the Douglas Memorial Hospital, Fort Erie, especailly her brother Dr. Paul Spencer and his wife Cristy; the staff of the Hotel Dieu Palliative Care Unit,the staff of, and through CCAC of Niagara, especially Kim Willwerth and Audrey Clements and her friends at FACS in Niagara Falls for all of their compassion.
A Memorial Tree was planted for Cynthia (Claire)
