Obituary of Jean Thompson

THOMPSON JEAN On Monday June 25, 2001 at the Hotel Dieu Hospital, at 76 years of age. Beloved wife of Alex (Chum) for 40 years. Loving mother of Ronald (Susan) Stecyk, dear baba of Dale, Sarah and Sabrina, great grandmother of Joshua and Victoria. Dear sister of Pauline, Mary, Alice, Mike and Bill. Jeanette will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Predeceased by her parents Mike and Annie Mantyka. At Jean's request there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held in the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL 585 Carlton St. on Saturday at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers memorial remembrances to the Parkinson's Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
