Obituary of William Guido Piovesana

PIOVESANA, William Guido Peacefully, with his family at his side, on Sunday, June 24th, 2001 at Ina Grafton Gage at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Marjorie. Loving father of Gerry (Georgina) and Patricia (Bob) Thompson. Dear Nono of Christa (Brian), Catharine (Matthew), Caryn, Chera, Michael, and Gregory. Great Nono of Rebekah and William. Brother of Ann Borgatti of Welland, Lena and Frank Piersanti of Hamilton, and Rena and John Porter of Hamilton. Bill will be sadly missed by many family and friends. His music and unique sense of humour will always hold a special place in our hearts. Bill was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd and had worked at General Motors for 35 years. Bill is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 11:30am. Cremation to follow. Visitation Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm. If so desired, donations to the Church of The Good Shepherd or Niagara Ina Grafton Gage would be appreciated by the family.
