Obituary of Olga Procyk (Yawny)

Procyk (Yawny), Olga Peacefully with her family at her side on Saturday, May 11, 2002 at Hotel Dieu Hospital. Olga Procyk in her 71st year. Loving wife of the late Steve Yawny (1990) and William Procyk (2000), loving mother of Stephan Yawny, Eugene and Brenda Yawny, Patricia Yawny and step mother of Paul Procyk, Tom Romanuk and Bob Romanuk. Dear Baba of Kathleen and Rachel. Sister of Murine and Ann. Olga was a member of St. John Ukrainian Catholic Church and had been employed at the Welland Tribune for a number of years. Mrs. Procyk is resting at the George Darte North Chapel, 585 Carlton St. until Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated in St. John Ukrainian Catholic Church at 10 a.m. with Rite of Committal in Holy Cross Cemetery, Welland. Visiting Hours Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 and 6:30-9 p.m. Panachyda will be celebrated in the funeral home on Tuesday at 7 p.m. Memorial Remembrances to Heart and Stroke Foundation or Hotel Dieu Palliative Care would be appreciated by the family.
