Obituary of Norman Gillis MacDonald

MacDONALD, Norman Gillis Passed away on Thursday, March 28th, 2002 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Anne. Loving father of Sandra and her husband Eric Keller, and Darlene and her husband John Forsyth. Dear Grandpa of Andrew and Alexander. Also survived by his nieces and nephews. Norman was a lifetime member of the St. Catharines Old Boys Lacrosse Association, a member of the 1938, 1944, 1946 St. Catharines Athletic Mann Cup Championship teams. He was a retiree of General Motors. Mr. MacDonald is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Tuesday at 9:30am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria on Tuesday at 10:00am. Rite of Committal at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visitation Sunday & Monday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Vigil Prayers will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimers Society or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
