Obituary of Ronald Stewart Adair

ADAIR, Ronald Stewart (Sparky) Surrounded by the love of his family. Ron passed away at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Wednesday, March 13th, 2002. Ron was born in North Sydney, Nova Scotia 68 years ago. Dearly loved by his wife of 49 years Donna (Wilson) and children and grandchildren Rhonda, Derek & Corrina, Mark & Malinda, Laura & Dan, Robin, Christopher & Gayle, Jeffery, Jim & Judy, Jason, Jamie & Jill, Deb & Ed. John, Tyler & Samantha, Kim & Dale, Nicholas & Brandon, Karen, Stephanie & Ryan. He is survived by one sister Annie Roberts. Predeceased by a grandson Andrew Mowder and his parents Nellie & Jim, brother Bobby & sister Cidella. Ron worked at General Motors and was a retiree from Local 199. He was Recording Secretary for local 199 & Shop Committeeman at the engine plant for many years. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. on Monday at 11:00am. Interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the H.I.U. Department of the Hamilton General Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
