Obituary of Nick Stret

STRET NICK (Mikolaj) On Saturday March 9, 2002 at the St. Catharines General Hospital, at 58 years of age. Beloved husband of Janina. Loving father of Stanley, Maria (Allan) Arsenault, Irene, Ricky and Robert. Dear Dziadzio of Rachel and Matthew. Cherished son of John and the late Maria Stret. Dear brother of Jenny Witko and her fiance Jack Colquhoun and Chester and his wife Lottie Stret. Nick will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Nick was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and the Canadian Polish Society . He was employed by the National Steel Car Ltd. in Hamilton as a welder. Mr. Stret is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Wednesday at 9:30am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church at 10:00am. Rite of committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil prayers for the deceased will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 7:30pm. Visiting hours are Monday 7-9 and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Memorial remembrances to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
