Obituary of Ida Catella

CATELLA, Ida Peacefully, on Friday, March 1st, 2002 at the Shaver Hospital in her 80th year. Beloved wife of Giuseppe. Cherished mother of Anna (Pietro) Marzile of Italy, Marco (1989) and his wife Brenda, Laura (James) Kirkpatrick, and Vito (Rae). Loving Nonna of Lorenzo, Mariella, Tina, Angela, Joe, Kim, Shawn, Krista, Mark, Victoria. Svi Nonna of Lorenzo, Julia. Survived by her sisters and brothers in Italy, special sister-in-law and friend Rosa Salvatore. She will be missed by all her family and many friends but she is now at peace. Mrs. Catella was a member of St. Alfred's Church. Mrs. Catella is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Monday at 9:00am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church on Monday at 9:30am. Rite of Committal at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visitation Saturday 7-9pm and Sunday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Vigil Prayers will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 7:30pm. If so desired, donations to the Shaver Hospital or Charity of Choice would be appreciated by the family.
