Dear Anne and Family. We were deeply saddened to hear of Les's passing. He has been a good friend and mentor to me ever since his days in the RCMP Gaming Section in Winnipeg. Native Gaming always generated lots of discussions between us over the years, no matter what job he was working. He was a great policeman and an even better human being and friend. I will always remember him. Bev and I send our sincerest condolences to you all.

To Anne and Family, please accept my condolences at the untimely passing of Les. I've known Les since he was stationed in Rosthern Saskatchewan. He was surprised to see me as an RCMP member when we crossed paths at Depot Division, especially after all the "grieve" we gave him in Rosthern. Since then we have crossed paths many times, both during his days in the RCMP and within the gaming industry.

To Les's Family,
I've had the pleasure of working with Les at Bazaar for the last 10 years. I worked closely with Les on Government proposals and ticket submittions. We had a great working relationship and he always loved to poke fun at me. Even though I'd pretend to be annoyed I actually like his teasing. I can hear his voice right now. He will truly be missed. The world will not be the same without him.
To Anne and his family:
You are in my thoughts and prayers. He was a great man. I guess God thought so too, because he wanted him by his side earlier than we had hoped.

I and many others in the charitable gaming industry are deepedly shocked and saddened by Les' sudden death. I often spoke with Les at conferences, not just because of business, but because he was such a pleasant individual. He was quick with a smile and pleasant greeting, and very easy to speak and laugh with. He was very dedicated and professional, and I am sure the family will miss him greatly. We will certainly miss him in our industry.

To the Family of Les Pregitzer,
I met Les over the telephone more than in person, when he called for information or just a chat with Terry Kelly at the Nova Scotia Alcohol and Gaming Authority. Always pleasant and firendly I am sure he will be greatly missed by not only his family, his friends and his working associates, but by many like myself who enjoyed his occasional conversations in passing.
To his family my condolences and best wishes.

I first met Les when he was with the Royal Red and I handled gaming responsibilities for the Province of NB. He always represented many of the better things about being a policeman. Our professional lives and careers continued to intersect over the years. I looked forward to the times when we could go out to dinner with Loebig and crew for an evening of good food, good laughs and good fellowship. There is a certain Italian restaurant chain which will not be the same without him. I'm glad I knew him. He was one of the people who enriched my life just a bit.
