Obituary of Margaret Steg

Steg, Margaret On Friday, January 18, 2002 at Welland Hospital. Margaret Steg 85 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Oscar, loving mother of June and her husband John Carriero, Paul and his wife Diane, Carmen and her husband Stephen Currie, dear grandmother of Paula and her fiancee Gino, Joey and his wife Sue, Geoffrey, Angela, Michael, Anne-marie, Corey, John Daniel, Shanna, Brent and great grandmother to Robbie, Ryan, Nicole and Corey. Mrs. Steg was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church and a member of the Catholic Women's League for more than 50 years. Mrs. Steg is resting at the George Darte North Chapel, 585 Carlton St. until Monday at 10:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Thomas Aquinas Church at 11 a.m. with Rite of Committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting Hours Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers for the deceased will be celebrated in the funeral home on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society if so desired
