Obituary of Stephania (Stella) Protskiw

PROTSKIW STEPHANIA (STELLA) Peacefully, on Sunday, January 13, 2002 at the Shaver Hospital, in her 87th year. Beloved wife of Emilian. Loving mother of Alexandra Sawchuk, Natalie Babicky and Audrey Strutynski. Dear Babtsia of Petrucia, Andriy, Wolodymyr (Vlad), and Stefan. Dear sister of Walter (Lenora) Prystayko of Winnipeg. Predeceased by her brother Michael Prystayko and sister Helen Skrypnyk. Stella will be lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews, family and friends. Stella was a member of Sts. Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church. Mrs. Protskiw is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Wednesday at 9:30am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in Sts. Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church at 10:00am. Rite of committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Phanachyda will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 7:30pm. Visiting hours are Monday 7-9 and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Memorial remembrances to Sts. Cyril and Methodius Curch Building Fund or the Children of Chernobyl would be appreciated by the family.
