Obituary of Ovide (Ben) Beaupre

BEAUPRE OVIDE (Ben) On Sunday December 30, 2001 at the St. Catharines General Hospital at 76 years of age. Beloved husband of the late Mary Frances Beaupre. Loving father of Katherine (Ted), Theresa (Artie), David (Margaret) and Pauline (Robert). Dear grandpa Ben of Andrew, David, Ryan and Adam Gall, Steven and Taylor Bigelow, Jeffrey and Shannon Llord, Alyssa, Lauren, Andrew and Jessica Beaupre. Dear brother of Rita Desautels of Montreal. Predeceased by his brothers Albert and Michael, sisters Margaret and Theresa. Ben will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends. Ben served in the navy during WW11 and was employed with General Motors of Canada for 48 years. Mr. Beaupre is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Thursday at 9:00am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Alfred;s Church at 9:30am. Rite of committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil prayers for the deceased will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 3:00pm. Visiting hours are Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Memorial remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
