The family of Anne Frederick announces her passing in her 81st year at VersaCare on Sunday, November 3, 2002, after a lengthy illness. She was beloved wife of George for 62 years. Lovingly remembered by her daughters, Ann (Roy) Atamanuk, Kate (Larry) Claringbold, Madlyn (Larry) Christie, Gina (Rick) Moscrop, and Nadine Frederick. Cherished Grandma of 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Andrew Nemeth (Oshawa) and Julie Bak (St. Catharines), and aunt to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister Mary Majher, her brother Steve Nemeth, and two grandsons. Anne will be remembered for her love and devotion to her family, her many humorous quips, time tested recipes, gardening expertise and insightful words of wisdom.
The family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St., on Tuesday, November 5th, 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. John Ukrainian Catholic Church, 91 Lakeshore Rd., on Wednesday, November 6, 2002 at 10am. Rite of Committal will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. The family wishes to acknowledge the tender loving care which she received at VersaCare.
