Obituary of Alice Jean Shaw

Shaw, Alice Peacefully on Tuesday, October 29, 2002 at the Hotel Dieu Hospital. In her 56th year. Loving wife of David. Beloved mother of Carolyn, Christina, and Stephen. Survived by her brothers Eddie, Olin (Helen), Eugene, Stanley, Ronald (Mary Ann), Terry, Allan (Barbera) and David (Eileen), and her sisters Helen (George) Duffy, Betty (Walter Sr.) Bratek and Mary (George Sr.) Quintana and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister Joan West. Will be missed by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Joanne and Paul McIntosh, Donna and David Dair, Suzanne and Dennis Sawyer, Karen Shaw and Paul and Tina Shaw. Mrs. Shaw is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Friday at 9:00am. Funeral liturgy will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church at 9:30am. Rite of committal at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours are Thursday 7-9pm. Vigil prayers for the deceased will be celebrated at the funeral home Thursday at 7:30pm. Memorial remembrances to World Vision Canada would be appreciated by the family.
