Profijt, Irene Wilhelmina Maria Peacefully with her family at her side on Monday, October 21, 2002 at St. Catharines General Hospital. Irene Profijt 62 years of age. Irene was born in Bandjirmasin, Borneo, Indonesia. Beloved mother of Kaidjah Maria (Kate) Profijt and Ralph Fazio, Jaap Roelof (Jack) and Suzanne Paterson, Lisa Barbera Profijt, loving grandmother of Conner, Jacob, Jenna Lynn, step grandma of Christine Jacqueline and Joseph Anthony, former wife of Jacob Profijt. Survived by 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Mrs. Profijt is resting at the George Darte North Chapel, 585 Carlton St. where a funeral liturgy without Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 a.m. with cremation to follow. Visiting Hours Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial Remembrances to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
