Obituary of David Malcolm (Mal) Flynn

FLYNN DAVID MALCOLM (Mal) Died peacefully at the Hotel Dieu Hospital in St. Catharines on Friday October 18, 2002, after a brief , valiant battle with cancer. He will be sadly missed by his wife and best friend of over thirty years, Elaine, and by sister-in-law Joan Bannan, brother-in-law John Bird (Jill) and their families, and his many friends. Mr. Flynn is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. Visiting hours are Sunday 2-4pm. Vigil prayers for the deceased will be held in the funeral home on Sunday at 2:00pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Julia Church, 251 Glenridge Ave. on Monday at 12noon. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers,donations in memory of Mal, may be made to a charity of your choice. Special thanks to Dr. Kerley, the Palliative Care staff, friends and family who helped during this difficult time.
