Obituary of Margaret Ashton

Ashton, Margaret Peacefully, with her family by her side on Sunday, September 29, 2002 at the Hotel Dieu Hospital, 75 years of age. Loving wife of Harold for over 52 years. Beloved mother of David & his wife Kellie of Indiana. Dear sister of Peter & his wife Barbara, and the late Betty. Aunt of Janette & Steve, Geoffrey & Cathy, Helen & Ian, and Ann & Simon. Great Aunt of Robert, Matthew, Monty, Henry, Megan, Faye, Anna, Philippa, and Owen. Beloved cousin of John, Jean, Marjorie, and Pat. Dear sister in law of Kathy Ashton, and Ada Ashton. Mrs. Ashton was past president of the Pilot Club International. Mrs. Ashton is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St., until Thursday where a funeral service to celebrate her life will be held in the chapel at 1pm. Cremation to follow. Visiting hours Wednesday 7-9pm. Memorial remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
