Obituary of Paul Marian Chmielak

CHMIELAK, Paul Marian Peacefully, with his family at his side, on September 24, 2002 at the age of 56. Beloved husband and best friend of Pat (kid). Loving dad of John and Catherine (Stuart). Wonderful Dziadek of Kelsey and Sierra (Snorks). Dear son of Jan and Aniela. Survived by his sister Eugenia (Jenny) and her husband Jim Caldwell, and brother John and his wife Cathy. Cherished uncle of Lindsay & Erin, and Tamara & Travis. Great uncle of Josh. Paul was a member of Lincoln Welland Regiment Armed Forces Reserve, and Polish Boy Scouts. He was an employee of Dana Canada for 35 years and a member of CAW Local 676. He left us the way he lived, quietly, uncomplaining and with strength. He will be in our hearts forever! Mr. Chmielak is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Friday at 2pm. Funeral Liturgy without Mass will be celebrated in the chapel on Friday at 2:00pm. Cremation to follow. Visitation Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm. If so desired, donations to Make A Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
