MORLEY, H. Raymond C.D., R.S.M. (Ret.) Passed away peacefully, at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Tuesday, September 10th, 2002. In his 80th year, after a courageous battle with cancer. Dearly loved husband and very best friend of Margie (nee Chrysler). Will always be cherished by his children Ethelyn Mutch of St. Catharines, Karen Henderson and her husband Bob of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ted and his wife Gail of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Doug and his wife Joyce of Oakville. Grampa will be sadly missed by David, Darren, Carolyn, Jennifer, Heather, Keith, Graham, Michael, and Sandra. Great Grampa of Connor, Evan, Aaron, Kyle, and Alicia. Survived by his brother Edward and his wife Elizabeth of Edmonton, AB., his sister Genevieve McLachlan and her husband Morris of Sidney, BC., and his sister-in-law Barbara Chrysler of Fort Frances. Served overseas in WWII with the Royal Regiment of Canada and later as the RSM of the Lincoln and Welland Regiment. Ray retired as a maintenance supervisor from General Motors after 36 years of service. Member of Seymour Lodge A.F. & A.M. No. 277, life member and Past Patron of Garden City Chapter #53 (Lincoln #142), Order of The Eastern Star. Ray was a passionate sports fan, loved to garden and always looked forward to his annual trip to Myrtle Beach. Mr. Morley is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Friday at 10:30am. Funeral Service will be celebrated at St. George's Anglican Church on Friday at 11:00am. Cremation to follow. Visiting hours Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm. If so desired, donations to Dr. Sandra Hartman Palliative Care or Lincoln & Welland Regimental Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
