Obituary of Florence Dowling

DOWLING, Florence "Flo" Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday August 21, 2002 at the Hotel Dieu Hospital at 78 years of age. Beloved wife of Mike. Loving Mom of Robin (Wayne), Bryan (Debbie) and Tony (Jo-Anne). Cherished Nannie of Lisa, Heather, Michelle and Carolyn, and Michael and Krystin. Survived by her sisters Ciss McIsaac, Bobby (Rod) Walker and Lorraine Werezak, brother Cyril "Augie" (Annette) Handley and sister-in-law Theresa Handley. Predeceased by her parents Edward and Elizabeth Handley, brothers Billy (Julia) Handley, Georgie Handley and Eddie Handley, brothers-in-law Mike McIsaac and Mike Werezak. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. At Florence's request, there will be no visiting or service. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that a Mass be said in her honour, or a memorial donation be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
