MACDONALD SOPHIA On Monday August 19, 2002 at the St. Catharines General Hospital, at 60 years of age. Beloved daughter of Anna Ruparcic. Dear wife of the late Freeman MacDonald. Loving mother of Vince, Virginia (Joe), Vaughn (Deanne). Cherished Nanna of Darquis, Kia, Caitlin, Devin, Dana, Ryley and Gillian. Dear sister of Nellie (Ernie). Predeceased by her brother Tony. Sophia will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Mrs. MacDonald is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton, where a service to celebrate her life will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11am. Cremation to follow. Visiting hours are Thursday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Memorial remembrances to the Diabetes Association or Princess Margaret Hospital Brain Tumor Research would be appreciated by the family.
