Obituary of Walter Edgar Ruetz

RUETZ, WALTER On Saturday August 10, 2002 at Tufford Nursing Home, at 76 years of age. Loving husband of Betty. Beloved father of Elaine and her fiance David Parkes of Fenwick, and Lynne of Oshawa. Proud Grandpa of Lisa Rose, Sarah Lynn & her husband Tom Lilley. Brother of Orville of Vancouver, Dorothy Lentsch of Vancouver, and Raymond of St. Catharines. Predeceased by his brothers Lloyd of Mississauga, Ralph of St. Catharines, George of Listowel. Mr. Ruetz was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Church, and a retiree of General Motors. Mr. Ruetz is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Wednesday at 10:00am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Thomas Aquinas Church at 10:30a.m. Rite of committal in Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, Fonthill. Vigil prayers for the deceased will be held in the funeral home on Tuesdayat 2pm. Visiting hours are Monday 7-9pm aand Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Memorial remembrances the the Alzheimers Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
