Obituary of Steve Caryk

CARYK, Steve "Beaky" Suddenly, at home, on Saturday, August 3rd, 2002 at the age of 71. Dearly beloved husband of Rose Alma. Loving father of Jenny (Ken) Sherwood, Lynn (Bill) Markoff. Dear Grampa of Todd & Adam Sherwood and Cory & Emily Markoff. Survived by his sister Nancy Strilesky and predeceased by his brother Bill (1982) and his son Michael (1996). Also survived by many nieces & nephews, and brothers & sisters-in-law. Steve was a crane operator at Dwor Metals for over 30 years. Mr. Caryk is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 10:00am. Interment at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. Visitation Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Mental Health Lincoln would be appreciated by the family.
