Obituary of Ellen Anna Harrington

HARRINGTON, Ellen On Thursday, August 1st, 2002 with courage and dignity, on a warm summers eve, at the age of 87, our most precious, beloved mother, sister, and grandmother left this earth to join her husband Jack (1995). Loving, spirited Mum to daughters Jean (David) Smith, and Sylvie Harrington. Ellen's legacy also includes the love and admiration of her sister Hedy Klute and grandchildren Hayley, James, Lisa, Holly, Sydney, and Alex. She was a kind, generous, delightful lady, who's life's devotion to her family will be forever cherished. Always in our hearts and minds "Ma", luv ya. All who knew Ellen may visit her at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the chapel on Monday at 11:00am. Cremation to follow. Visitation Sunday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Memorial Remembrances to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Arthritis Society would be appreciated by the family.
