Obituary of Guerrino Carnevali

Carnevali, Guerrino Peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Sunday, July 28, 2002 at 86 years of age. Predeceased by his loving wife Lena and daughter Cindy. Beloved father of Cathy. Survived by his sisters Lina Carnevali and Teresa Chimarra in Italy, brother-in-law Romualdo Baldoni in Canada and Rosina Baldoni in Italy. Survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada, United States and Italy. Guerrino was a member of Club Roma and belonged to St. Alfred's Parish. He retired from Port Weller Dry Docks 21 years ago, and resided in the Niagara Arms Retirement Hotel for the past year. Mr. Carnevali is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St., until Thursday at 9:00am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church at 9:30am. Rite of Committal will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours Tuesday 7-9pm and Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Vigil prayers will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 3:00pm. Memorial remembrances to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
