Obituary of Catherine McLeod

McLeod, Catherine (nee Hughes) Passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, July 23, 2002 at the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loved ones. Wife of Donald McLeod. Adored mother of Doreen, John, Charles, Catherine, and Carol Anne. Her loving strength to the end of her days touched and inspired us. We will always love you mom. Little grandma will be lovingly remembered by her 10 grandchildren, Michael, Amanda, Melanie, Meagan, Jennifer, Kristen, Lisa, Jessica, Tyler, and Christopher. Predeceased by her mother Katie Hughes. Survived by her father Jim Hughes, her loving sisters Margaret, Sadie, and Molly, and by her brother Jim Hughes. Family was everything to mom and she meant everything to us. Mrs. McLeod is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St., until Friday at 10:30am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church at 11am. Cremation. Visiting hours Thursday 7-9pm. Vigil prayers will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 7pm. In lieu of flowers memorial remembrances to the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Grimsby would be appreciated by the family.
