Obituary of Wilda Mae Burke

Burke, Wilda Mae (Upper) Peacefully at Extendicare, St. Catharines on Sunday, July 21, 2002 in her 86th year with her family, friends and her faithful companion "Chance" at her side. Beloved mother of Doug (Gloria) Upper, Barbara Abrams, Elaine Dejonge of Orillia, Pat (Bill) Preston, Jim (Linda) Upper, Val (Dave) Schilz, Gary (Virginia) Upper, and Randy (Leslie) Upper. Wilda had 21 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Extendicare for their care, support and compassion they gave the family and "Grandma". Family will receive friends at the George Darte North Chapel, 585 Carlton St. on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with interment in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial Remembrances to Make a Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
