Obituary of Peter Joseph Markarian

MARKARIAN, Peter Joseph Peacefully, on Monday, July 15th, 2002 at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 70. Loving father of Michael (Kim) Markarian and Elizabeth (Patrick) Markarian. Dear brother of Rose Paine and Elise (Noel) Moukborian of France. Beloved brother-in-law of Josephine Markarian. Grandpa of Paige, Michael, Brody, and Brittany. Predeceased by his brother Joseph and sister Perouse. Peter will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and all his cousins. Longtime owner of Markarian Motors. Special thanks to the staff at Extendicare and the St. Catharines General Hospital. Mr. Markarian is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 7-9pm. A private family service will take place at a later date. Interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If so desired, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
