Patricia Louise McFarlane (Trisha) died peacefully, surrounded by her family, in the Grey Bruce Health Services, Wiarton Hospital on July 9, 2002 in her 76th year. Daughter of the late Leroy and Ruby Peart of St. Catharines, twin sister of Shirley (Butt) Viveash and her husband Bill of Sydney, B.C., sister of Jacqueline Pierce and her husband Jim of Jordan. Loved wife of 54 years of Gordon McFarlane of Thorold/St. Catharines, cherished Mom and friend of Judy and Bob Barr of Waterloo, Gordon McFarlane of Black Creek, B.C. Beloved Trisha/Grandmother of Lindsey Barr of Waterloo/Ottawa, Sarah McFarlane of Edmonton, Alberta, and Emma McFarlane of Vancouver, B.C. Patricia was a woman of character, devoted to her family; such a gift to us. We miss you awfully Trisha. A family affirmation ceremony to celebrate Trisha's life will be held at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St., St.Catharines on Saturday, July 20, 2002 at 11a.m., visitation with family from 10 to 11, with a reception to follow the service.
