Obituary of Clarisse Michel

Michel, Clarisse Peacefully on Wednesday, June 26, 2002 at the St. Catharines General Hospital. 76 years of age. Loving wife of the late Edward (1974). Beloved mother of Fern Michel & his wife Donna, Albert Michel & his companion Judy, and Sylvia Beaulieu. Dear grandma of Roger Beaulieu, Marc Beaulieu, Sabrina Michel, Edward Michel, and Bret Michel. Great grandma of Priscilla Beaulieu. Dear sister of Edward Duguay and Cecilia Michaud of St. Catharines, Francis Duguay, Odillon Duguay, Rosanna Chiasson, Almire Chiasson, all of New Brunswick. Also survived by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister Adelia Chiasson, and by her brothers Wilfred Duguay, Ozzie Duguay, and Albert Duguay. Mrs. Michel was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. A past member of the Canadian Corp Ladies Auxillary #44 Thorold; and a member of the St. Catharines Ladies Cribbage League. The family wish to express their sincere thanks to Dr. Gruber and the nursing staff of the 3rd floor and 2nd floor continuous care unit of the St. Catharines General Hospital for their care and support. Mrs. Michel is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St., until Saturday where a Funeral Liturgy without mass will be held in the chapel at 10am. Rite of Committal will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours Friday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Memorial remembrances to the St. Catharines General Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
