Obituary of Joseph Gorman

Gorman, Joseph "Joe" After a courageous battle on Wednesday, June 26, 2002 at the Hotel Dieu Hospital. 72 years of age. Loving husband of Betty for over 35 years. Dear father of the late Scott Gorman, and stepfather of the late Ron Stratford. Proud Papa Joe of Andrew and Alex Stratford. Dear brother of Edna Parker of Burks Falls, Ruth Cockburn of Toronto, and Marjery Ciana of Bancroft. Predeceased by his sisters Bell Thompson, Mae McConnell, and Mary Downer, and by his brother Hank Gorman. Brother in law of Bruce Felton, and Lee Felton. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A special thanks to his nephew Warren Parker and family, Danielle & Leann of all their help. The family wish to express their thanks to the staff of the 3rd floor of the Hotel Dieu Hospital for their care and support. Mr. Gorman is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. until Saturday where a funeral service to celebrate his life will be held at 2pm. Cremation to follow. Visiting hours Friday 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers memorial remembrances to the Hotel Dieu Hospital, St. Catharines would be appreciated by the family.
