Obituary of Luela Swanson

SWANSON, Luella Mae (nee Brunskill)-passed away peacefully at St.Catharines General Hospital on May 5, 2011 in her 94th year. Pedeceased by loving husbands Manford Swanson and Oscar Benjamin. Cherished mother to Alan Benjamin (Susan) and Joanne Lederer. Special grandmother to Tina, Adam and Andrea. Fondly remembered and loved by her step-sons Michael Swanson (Judy) and Richard Swanson (Merry) and their children Adam, Krista and Karena. Lue will be sadly missed by her sisters Marie and Irene and her nieces Jackie, Jude, Kathy, Debbie, and nephews Rusty and Al. Predeceased by her mother Ella, brother Ken and sister Jean. The family will receive visitors at Pleasant Manor chapel, 15 Elden St. Virgil, on Sunday May 8 from 1-2 p.m. with Funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke foundation of Ontario will be appreciated by her family.
