I WAS SORRY TO READ ABOUT THE PASSING OF YOUR FATHER . ALTHOUGH MANY YEARS HAVE SLIPPED BY SINCE WE ALL LIVED ON TROUT LAKE ROAD MY FIRST THOUGHTS OF YOUR FATHER WERE OUR EARLY HOCKEY DAYS AT POLICE PLAYGRUND.I REMEMBER HIM GOING FROM PLAYER TO PLAYER AND TYING THEIR SKATES( VERY TIGHT I MIGHT ADD:)
BELIEVE IT OR NOT I HAVE AN OLD BLACK AND WHITE PICTURE ON MY FRIDGE TAKEN OF AL GARDINER TOM AND MYSELF ON OUR BACKYARD RINK DRESSED IN OUR HOCKEY OUTFITS.
WE WISH YOU ALL THE BEST AND REMEMBER THAT SOME OF THE OLD MEMORIES CAN STILL BE THE BEST MEMORIES

We all will miss Mr.Russell very much I am sorry I cannot make it to the funeral in person. I will always remember Mr.Russell's smiling face he was a very kind man and poetic also there is one poem he wrote while he was in On K3East about all the nurses that took care of him that really touched us all about how thankful and happy he was with his care. My thoughts are with Tom and his family. Mr.Russell was a good man who had a great family. Mohammud.Kaka P.A.A. Sunnybrook Hospital.
