Obituary of Gus Yiokaris

YIOKARIS, Gus Passed away peacefully on May 6th, 2011 at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 77. He will be missed by his loving brother Nick (Soula), sisters Argiro (late Nick) Rigas, Tasia (late Chris) Korbos, Ourania (George) Argiropoulos, and his late sisters Sophia (Peter) Stavropoulos, Electra (Bob) Bilidas and Maria (late John) Kairis. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews, as well as extended family and friends. Mr. Yiokaris's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, on Monday, May 9th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 10th at St. Katharine Greek Orthodox Church, 585 Niagara Street at 11am. Burial to follow in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Katharine Greek Orthodox Church would be appreciated by the family.
