CRAIG FRANCIS ROBERT (Bob) Peacefully, after a long journey, with all his family by his side on Wednesday May 15, 2002 at Linhaven Home, in his 81st year. He will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 53 years, Catharine(Murphy), his six sons and their wives, Glen and Jackie, Greg and Michele, Gary and Lisa, Gordon and Emily, Graham and Liz, Grant and Gayle; and his grandchildren Tanya, Brandon and Darren; Jessica; Ciara, Colten and Kiersten; Peter and Robert; Lauren and Connor; Kyle and Evan. Survived by his sister Joan Frank and husband Brian and sister-in-law Alice Craig. Predeceased by his brother Gordon Craig. Bob was a WWII veteran. He retired from Bell Canada as an engineer in 1982 after forty years of service. Spent many years as a member of Twenty Valley Golf and Country Club and as a coach in the St. Catharines Minor Hockey Association ending his long coaching career with the Jr. B Falcons. He was also a member of St. Alfred's Parish for 50 years. Dad was a very proud, dedicated and loving father who's strength and spirit will continue to live on in all of us. Mr. Craig is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Saturday at 9am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Alfred's Church at 9:30am. Rite of committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil prayers for the deceased will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 3:00pm. Visiting hours are Thursday 7-9 and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Memorial remembrances to the Alzheimers Society Niagara would be appreciated by the family. Thanks to St. Peter's, St. Joseph's and HPH Hospital in Hamilton, and a special thanks to the entire staff at Linhaven. Also, the support we received from the Alzheimer's Society.
