Obituary of Stephen Tychowecky

TYCHOWECKY STEPHEN Peacefully, on Friday April 4, 2003, at his residence in his 81st year. Beloved husband of the late Mary (1976). Loving father of Barbara (Bill) Ross, Elizabeth (Michael) Cherkas and Stephanie (Cheyne) Dowson. Dear Dido of Stephen, Marta, Matthew and John. Survived by his brother Michael of Ukraine. Stephen will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Mr.Tychowecky was a member of Sts. Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church, Ukrainian Social Services Club, Black Sea Hall Seniors Group and CAW Local 199. He was employed with General Motors of Canada for 34 years and spent many enjoyable hours in his garden. Mr. Tychowecky is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Tuesday at 9:30am. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated in Sts. Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church at 10:00am. Rite of committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Panachyda will be held in the funeral home on Sunday and Monday at 7:30pm. Visiting hours are Sunday 7-9 and Monday 2-4:30 and 7-9pm. Memorial remembrances to Sts Cyril and Methodius Church Building Fund or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
