Obituary of Iwan Siamro

Siamro, Iwan "John" After a one year illness, on Tuesday, March 25, 2003, John Siamro at the age of 78,now joins his late brother, Omelan. John will be sadly missed by his beloved wife, Janina and children, Joanne and Norman Manson of Grand Island, NY, Gerry and Kathy Siamro of St. Catharines, Gloria and Rod Madill of Kanata, ON and Bob and Kelly Siamro of Portland, Oregon. "Dido" had a great love for his grandchildren; Lesley & Les Gallagher of St. Augustine, Florida, Ian Madill, of Kanata, ON, Erin Madill of Niagara Falls, ON, Michael & Teri Siamro of St. Catharines, Katy, John & Olivia Siamro of Portland, Oregon, as well as his two great-grandchildren MacKenzie & Ryan Gallagher of St. Augustine, Florida. John is also survived by his sister Oksana in the Ukraine. Mr. Siamro is resting at the George Datre Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. until Friday at 10:30a.m. The Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church on Friday at 11a.m. with Rite of Committal following in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours for John are Wednesday from 7-9p.m. & Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9p.m. Panachyda for John will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 7:30p.m. Those who wish may make memorial remembrances in John's name to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
