Dear Ray
My parents read of Kathleen's passing in the paper last night and wanted to pass on their thoughts and prayers to you and your family. Dad is no longer able to move around enough to attend the visitation or memorial.
He did spend this morning retelling the stories of you and Mick and all the things that you did years ago.
Sincerely Bob & Ruth Matin

Hi R.J. and Todd! OK, so maybe you are known as Raymond, but I know you as R.J....I can still hear your Dad calling you...Raymond Jeffrey....I'm not sure what to say, just in case I cannot see you in person, I hope this is the next best thing. I didn't realize your Mom was still so young. Believe it or not, my Mom is 76 now! When I read about your Mom's passing in the newspaper (St. Catharines Standard), I couldn't help but think of the old days when we used to sit on your steps, play in the gulley, ride our bicycles, remember that group of trees behind the MacNevin's house (which is now an apartment complex), we used to call a fort....good, simpler days. I still remember Sherry and Brian's Dad hearing us and once saying that if we wanted to fight, to go to Lebanon! Tim has been in the Canadian Armed Forces since 1995. He was in the Army, based in Petawawa, Ontario, for a few years, but transferred almost two years ago to the Air Force in Trenton, Ontario, where he is an Aviation Technician. That's a fancy term meaning he works on planes. He met a girl in Petawawa, Tina, and they have been married for about a year-and-a-half now. Most siblings have their share of fights, but I'm quite proud of him now! I'm not married yet, and neither Tim or I have any kids yet, although hopefully in the future that will all change...Seven months ago, I started working at Casino Niagara. I like it there. Please know that we are all thinking of you....Kathy
