Obituary of Theodor August Sackfie

Sackfie, Theodor (Ted): Passed away peacefully on May 8th 2011, in his 80th year, at the Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Joyce for more than 59 years. Loving father of Wayne (Linda), Allen (Janet), Dale (Kim). Dear grandfather of Melisa (George), Jessie(Paul), Christopher (Stefania), Amylee (Ryan), Nicholas, Brandon and 6 great grandchildren. Ted will be sadly missed by many relatives and friends and especially his 11 siblings. Ted enjoyed his retirement from TRW where he was employed for 42 years. The family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. St. Catharines, on Wednesday May 11th, from 6-8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday May 12, 2011 at 1 p.m. with interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Staff at the Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital; for their care and compassion for Ted as it was truly appreciated.
